Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #566 Strawberry Ice

Hi everyone!

This is the last product review of the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss collection that I have. In this blog I am going to be reviewing the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #566 in Strawberry Ice. This is my second favorite product out of the four lipglosses that I have. My first is the #578 in Sinless. This is another very pretty, fun, bright lipgloss.

I got this lipgloss on sale. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but it was somewhere between 99 cents and $1.50. I bought the Rose Gold, Mauve-Jave Desert, and Strawberry Ice at my local walgreens because I was there picking something up and realized that they were having a sale on Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Glosses so I wanted to add to my collection. I thought that the colors were going to be pretty and pigmented, but not all of them delivered.

I would divide the lipglosses into three categories. The categories are awesome, okay, and disappointing. I would put Sinless and Strawberry Ice in the awesome category. I would put the Rose Gold/Rose in the okay category. I would put the Muave-Jave Desert in the disappointing category. That is why instead of rating just the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss as one overall product I decided to split it up into reviewing each one individually because they vary a lot from each other, especially in pigmentation. Even though it seems kind of stupid to try to review the same lipgloss collection individually, there is a reason why I did it that way. That is why I take the time to review each product individually because not all of them are always the same. Just wanted that to be known.

RATING:

Price: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Pigment: 9/10
Smell: 9/10
Taste: 9/10
Application: 9/10
Feel of product on lips: 9/10
Longevity: 7/10
Amount of product: 10/10
Would I buy this product again: 10/10
Overall rating: 9/10
Total rating: 101/110=91.81%=91.8%=A

My personal rating: 9.5/10=95%=A

Comments: The pricing is cheap, especially when there are sales which I've noticed Walgreens has a lot of them. The packaging is cute. I love the pigment of this lipgloss. There is a light smell, but it doesn't smell sweet. There is a slight waxy after taste, but not as bad as in Sinless. The application is very smooth and even. The product doesn't feel sticky, heavy, or thick. Of course like most lipglosses there is no lasting power, but it doesn't claim as such, so I can't take off too heavily for it not lasting. You get a lot of product for the money. I would definitely buy this lipgloss again. I actually wore it this past weekend.

Thank you so much for reading!

Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #581A Mauve-Jave Desert

Hi everyone!

This week I am continuing to review the four lipgloss products from Wet N Wild. In this blog I am going to be reviewing the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #581A in Mauve-Jave Dessert. I am conflicted about the actual name of the product because on the actual lip gloss it calls it Mauve-Jave Desert, but on the website it calls it Mauve-Jave Dessert. As you can see there is a difference in spelling of the product name. It could be either desert or dessert. To me personally it sounds better as desert than dessert, but that is just my personal preference.

The normal price of this product is $1.99, but I bought it on sale. I don't remember how much exactly I paid for it, but it was somewhere between 99 cents and $1.50. Out of all of the lipglosses that I bought from Wet N Wild's Mega Slicks Lip Gloss collection this was the one I liked the least. I was expecting better pigment, but it just wasn't there. If you are looking for a very very light pigment then this is okay, but I was not looking for that and I was not expecting that for this product, especially with the awesome pigment with the other two lipglosses. It was very disappointing. If you are looking for very slight color, mostly glossy this is a product for you. If you are looking for a pigment then this product is not for you.

RATING:

Price: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Pigment: 6/10
Smell: 7/10
Taste: 8/10
Application: 9/10
Feel of product on lips: 9/10
Longevity: 7/10
Amount of product: 10/10
Would I buy this product again: 6/10
Overall rating: 7/10
Total rating: 89/110=80.9%=B

My personal rating: 7/10=70%=C

Comments: The price is excellent, especially when it is on sale. The packaging is cute. Like I stated in the above paragraphs, I was very disappointed with the pigment of this lipgloss. I was really hoping that it would have more of a pigment because it looks like a really pretty color in the tube. There is a bit of a smell to it, a very light sweet smell, but not overpowering, especially when applied to the lips. I would say that this one doesn't have as bad an after taste as some of the other lipglosses. The application goes on smoothly and evenly. The product doesn't feel sticky, thick, or heavy. As with all lipglosses, the longevity of them tend to be very short. This doesn't claim to be long lasting so I didn't judge it as harshly as I normally would. You get a lot of product for the money. I would personally not buy this particular color again because it looks so pretty in the tube, but it doesn't apply that pretty color to the lips. If it did this would get 100% rating because I love the tube color.

Thank you for reading!

Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #576A Rose Gold/Rose

Hi everyone!

In this blog I am continuing to review the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Glosses. The one I am talking about in this blog is the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss #576A in Rose Gold/Rose. I am not as big of a fan on this specific Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss because I feel the pigment is lacking a little bit. The first one I bought was in Sinless so if you go from that one where the pigment is very good to a lower quality pigment it is a bit disappointing, but this product is not the most offensive, at least not like I originally thought. A few months ago I went to my local Walgreens for something other than makeup and I ended up finding out that they were having a sale on the Mega Slicks Lip Glosses so I was super excited to pick up a few more colors to add to my collection. Normally the product price is $1.99, but it was on sale I think for 99 cents each. It could not have been higher than $1.50 for each.

With this product I would just like to reiterate that it is a hit or a miss product. Some lipglosses are really nice, some are okay, and some are not very good... I just wanted to make sure I put that out there. When you buy different variations of the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Glosses be aware that you are going to get a varied product even though it's made by the same company and part of the same collection.

RATING:

Price: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Pigment: 8/10
Smell: 9/10
Taste: 8/10
Application: 9/10
Feel of product on lips: 9/10
Longevity: 7/10
Amount of product: 10/10
Would I buy this product again: 8/10
Overall rating: 8/10
Total rating: 96/110=87.27%=87.3%=B+

My personal rating: 8.5/10=85%=B

Comments: The price of the product is cheap and I got it on sale so it was super cool. This product does tend to go on sale a lot at Walgreens. The packaging is cute and comes with an applicator wand. I was a little bit disappointed with the pigment, but it wasn't as bad as the other one I have. Each lip gloss pigment is not consistent which is why I am doing separate reviews for each Mega Slick Lip Gloss. It is trying to have kind of a sweet smell to it, but it is not overpowering, especially once applied to the lips. This specific lipgloss unlike the other ones has a very pleasant taste/after taste. It doesn't taste chemically mixed with waxy. It has a very slight flowery after taste. The application of the lipgloss was very smooth and even. The product doesn't feel thick, heavy, or sticky. Once again this product does not last long, but it does not advertise as such, so I cannot rate it too harshly on that. It is a normal lipgloss that wears off easily. You get a lot of product for the amount you pay for it. I am not sure I would jump to buy this product again because of the pigment lacking, but it was nice not to have such a horrible after taste like with the other ones.

Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss in #578 Sinless

Hi everyone!

This week I am going to do another round of lipgloss reviews. I am going to be reviewing the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss. I am honestly not entirely sure how to rate this product because I have four lipglosses in different colors. Two of them I absolutely adore and the other two I am not very excited about. I feel like this is a very hit or miss product. That is why I mostly review products separately and do not make assumptions on the overall product ratings. Even though it may seem a bit annoying that I am reviewing Wet N Wild lipglosses four different times, I would like it to be known that more than likely there is a reason for it. Last week when I reviewed a specific C.O. Bigelow product that I have a bias for, but also extended the rating to the other products because they all work amazingly well. It doesn't matter what flavor you get it will do the job. But with the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss products it definitely varies. It may appear redundant, but I assure you that it is not and it is not meant to be.

With that out of the way, in this blog I am going to review the Wet N Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss in #578 Sinless. It was a very pretty, fun, bright pink color. This was the first one that I bought, but I was in a local Walgreens a while back and just happened to see it on a counter. It had been misplaced. I was probably looking for a cute, cheap lipgloss. I actually found it by accident. I paid $1.99 for this product.

RATING:

Price: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Pigment: 9/10
Smell: 9/10
Taste: 7/10
Application: 10/10
Feel of product on lips: 9/10
Longevity: 7/10
Amount of product: 10/10
Would I buy this product again: 10/10
Overall product rating: 9/10
Total rating: 100/110=90.9%=A

My personal rating: 9.5/10=95%=A

Comments: The price of this product is very cheap, usually only $1.99. The awesome thing about this product is that my local Walgreens has a lot of sales on this product to where it is as low as 99 cents for each product. I think that the pigment is very good on this lip gloss especially for the price. It is very cute packaging and comes with a wand applicator. The color that's in the tube matches fairly decently to the color on the lips. There is a slight smell to this lipgloss, but it's not overpowering. Once applied to the lips you cannot smell it. The taste of the product is pretty bad. It tastes like chemicals is the closest I can think of as far as a comparison is concerned. The application of the product is that it applies very smoothly to the lips. The feel of the product is that it it doesn't feel sticky, heavy, or thick. The longevity of the product is not very good because it comes off easily, but it's a normal lip gloss so I don't hold it to lasting a long time. If it was advertised as long lasting then I would rate it according to that, but this is just a normal lip gloss so unfortunately it is not going to last very long on the lips. That is why I didn't rate it too harshly. You get a lot of product for the amount of money you pay for the product. If I think of anything else, I will let you know.

Thank you for reading!

Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm in Beloved/Adoration

Hi everyone!

In the blog for today I have decided to do a review on a product that got huge reviews on youtube by other makeup people. It is the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm and I got mine in Beloved/Adoration. This product is the reason why I really wanted to start my own blogs and videos on products because this product was way overhyped. I don't want to mention any specific names, but they were by people who are very well respected to review products on youtube. I know that I have not done a lot of lip products so I am trying to include more of those since I am not focused on finding other products right now. Lipglosses are my favorite topic!

I watched a few youtube videos and got really excited about this product so I decided to go out and buy it. I think I bought this lipstain and balm from my local target. It ended up being super disappointing in so many ways. For example the pigmentation of it was not very good, it is very dry and drying, hard to work with (it doesn't apply evenly), and the biggest reason why I do not like this product at all is because it literally, to me, feels like I am taking a Crayola marker and trying to apply it to my lips. Enough said...

I don't remember how much exactly I paid for this product, but according to the target website, it says it is between $6.69 and $7.99. I should also mention that since it has been a while since I bought this product, apparently Revlon came out with a remake of this product. Those are called Revlon Kissable Balm Stain. It looks a lot better than this first round of this product.

Even though I really don't like the lipstain part of the product, this product comes with a separate, but attached lip balm. I really like the lip balm, but it is definitely not worth spending that amount of money just for a little lip balm.  I usually use the lip balm just by itself. No need to waste good product.

RATING:

Price: 7/10
Packaging: 6/10
Size of product (amount): 7/10
Smell: 6/10
Taste: 7/10
Pigment: 5/10
Application: 6/10
Texture: 6/10
Lip balm: 10/10
Longevity: 5/10
Different lip types: 6/10
Overall rating: 6/10
Would I buy this product again: 3/10
Total rating: 80/130=61.53%=61.5%=D-

My personal rating: 6/10=60%=D- (that's being generous but I do like the lip balm)

Comments: I think it is overpriced for this crap of a product that was very cheaply made. I gave the packaging portion a bad rating because It looks and feels just like a Crayola marker which I don't really associate with lips. The color is cute, the writing is cute, the name of the product is cute, and I like how they separated the lipstain from the lip balm, but the terribleness of the product makes it easy to overlook the good things. The lipstain tries to have a sweet smell to it and the lip balm doesn't really have a smell, it is a fairly neutral smell but a little bit on the sweet side. As far as taste goes it doesn't actually have a taste, but I got a Crayola marker taste a little bit. I gave pigment a low rating because trying to apply this crap to the upper lip is ridiculous and frustrating. The way this product was designed you have to pretty much be laying down when applying this to the upper lip because it dries out quickly and if you hold it at an angle for too long then it won't apply at all... on the lower lip it does not apply evenly at all. For application I gave it too nice of a score I think because it is really hard to work with and because the product is so dry it dries out the lips. Once you can actually apply the product it doesn't stay on very long and actually I found that when I tried to apply the included lip balm over the lipstain, even after allowing it to dry, the lip balm would take the lipstain off. Some people complained about their lip balm breaking off too easily, but I have not personally experienced that. I would say the texture is smooth and not sticky feeling on the lips. I definitely would not recommend this product for or on dry lips, but if you use a product to moisturize the lips then completely forget about any kind of pigment. First you would have to moisturize lips, but then not use the lipstain right away. Wait for the moisturizing product to wear off. It is a very frustrating product.

Marina

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine in Vanilla Cola

Hi everyone!

Today's blog is going to be about the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine in a Vanilla Cola flavor. Unfortunately, I do not believe that they sell this anymore. I am having a very sad face because I love this flavor! It looks like they replaced this with a Vanilla Mint flavor. That's too bad...

I was introduced to C.O. Bigelow by my mom quite a few years ago. She has since passed away. But she knew me very well because she bought this for me on one of her shopping trips. She knows that I am obsessed with both Vanilla Coke and lipgloss =-) Besides really loving the flavor, I think that this is an amazing product. When you first put it on there is a bit of a tingling sensation that doesn't hurt, but you can just tell the product is working. It leaves my lips feeling super refreshed, moisturized, and it makes for better lipstick/lipgloss application. I will admit that sometimes I put it on just so I can lick it off. You can also just wear it by itself if you just want a glossy look to the lips.

What I usually do is use the C.O. Bigelow Mentha lip buffer for a few minutes then wipe it off. Then I put on either the Mentha Lip Shine in Vanilla Cola, Spearment, or Peppermint. I usually leave it on my lips while I am doing other things to my face. Then by the time I am done doing my face makeup my lips are ready for whatever I decide to put on them whether it be lipstick, lipgloss, or both!

According to C.O. Bigelow's website the price of the Mentha Lip Shine is $7.50 for a decent size tube. I think it is definitely worth the price! I think it might be cheaper at Bath and Body Works. I looked at their website and it says that they sell it for about $5.

RATING:

Price: 10/10
Smell: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Conditions lips: 10/10
Color: 10/10
Feel: 10/10

Longevity of product on lip: 7/10

Comments: I think the ones sold at B&B Works are smaller size than the ones on the actual company website. I love this flavor so I had to give it 10/10 for that! All of them do have a smell, but it's not a bad smell. There are different flavors to choose from or go with the classic gum flavors. The packaging is pretty cute! It definitely moisturizes and conditions chapped/dry lips. You can feel a huge difference as soon as you apply the product to your lips! I put 10/10 on color because it technically doesn't have a color to it so you can either leave it as is for a glossy look and apply lipstick/other gloss over it or under it. If you are not looking for color it's perfect for just a nice healthy glossy looking lips or you can add colored products over it if you are looking for color. Some people complained about it being too sticky/thick, but I don't get that at all. Maybe it is a little thicker than most lipglosses, but I think it's not overbearing. Like I said in the above paragraphs as well as this one that it can be used in many different ways. It restores dry/chapped lips into a smooth canvas to work with so you can use the product just to get healthy lips, you can use the product as a clear glossy shine for the lips, and you can add other products to it to your desire! The only problem I have with this product is that the smell doesn't last very long and neither does the shine, but the beauty of it is that it even though the smell and gloss wear off, the work that the product does on the lip does not =-) You are left with soft, healthy, moisturized lips! Heck yes I would buy this product, but I can't buy this specific one which is sad, but the other ones work amazingly well also.

Marina

Avon True Color "Glitz and Glamour" Eyeshadow Quad (Holiday Edition)

Hi!

This blog is going to be about the, TRUE COLOR Eyeshadow Quad (Holiday Edition) in Glitz and Glamour sold by AVON. I just looked on the AVON website and it says that they still have some of these left, they are discounted at a very good price, but I am not sure how long they are going to sell these. I would like to note that AVON does sell TRUE COLOR Eyeshadow Quads that are not limited edition. They have quite a variety of them. I would like to mention that I cannot say that the quality of the regular quads are the same as their holiday/special edition quads. I would just like that out there before we get started.

The price of this product is $9. I am not entirely sure that I actually paid that price though. I bought a couple of other items along with this holiday quad. It has been some time recently that I bought it, but I can't remember if it was before or after I started writing blogs... I think it might have been before I started. Currently this item is on sale for $3.99 which I am not going to argue with that. For about $4 it is definitely worth it. I really like the quality of the eye shadows in this quad. I am not a big fan of palettes or quads because I have personally not had much success with palettes/quads with the eye shadows not being of very good quality (for example Almay for brown eyes quad, Covergirl for blue eyes quad, and the E.L.F. 100 eyeshadow palette just to name a few). But I will say that this particular palette/quad I really like and for me to say that I like the quality of the eye shadows for this is pretty rare.

I tried to look at my order history, but after 6 months it deletes them so I don't know how much I paid. I think it may have been on sale at that time when I bought it between $4.99 and $5.99. It going for $3.99 currently is a great price!

Comments: I would say the regular price of it is kind of high, but you do get 4 fairly good quality eye shadows with good pigment. If you can, try to get it when there is a sale though. On this particular quad there are a lot of sales. I like the packaging it is quite simple, but cute. I think the pigments on this quad are the best that I have had the pleasure of experiencing. That is very exciting for me. I feel like the eye shadows are a bit difficult to worth with in terms of blending the eye shadows together. I do feel that even the though the pigment quality of the eye shadows is good, they are a bit on the dry side. I think they feel dry and kind of chalky. For the longevity of the eyeshadow I have a bit of a story. One day a while back I used the E.L.F. eyelid primer and used this AVON quad to create a look. I was playing around with this eyeshadow quad. I tried it on. Then for some reason I ended up taking a nap because I was tired. When I woke up the eyeshadow had not moved at all. It was so cool! I could not wait to share that with everyone. I cannot say with full certainty that it was not because of the E.L.F. eyelid primer, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I think it was all because of the AVON eye shadows. You get a lot of eyeshadow for each of the colors. It is a decent amount, especially if you get the quad on sale. As I have mentioned before that I have really oily lids. I have to be careful of what products I buy. I can safely say that I feel these eye shadows are good to use with oily lids because I have oily lids and I have not had issues with these eye shadows and because I fell asleep with it on and it did not budge. I am uncertain how these eye shadows might do with people who have dry lids. That is why I didn't give it the full 10 points. I would definitely recommend this to those who do tend to have oily lids because I think you will really like the staying power which is what we oily lids usually have a problem with.

DISCLAIMER: I have not tested the eyeshadow qualities of the regular non holiday/special/limited edition TRUE COLOR quads so I cannot say if they are good or not. Also, I am not sure how holiday/special/limited edition works with AVON because I do not know if they bring this particular Glitz and Glamour Quad every Christmas or if once it is sold out then it's gone. I am not usually a fan of buying limited edition items because if I really like it then I don't want it to go away and I feel it's not fair to review products that people cannot go out and buy if they so choose. I just want to give a heads up and make sure people are aware that this product may or may not be available to purchase. I will try to specify whether a product is in the regular collection or holiday/special/limited edition of a product.

Marina

E.L.F. (Eyes.Lips.Face) HD Powder

Hi makeup fans!

This blog is going to be about the Eyes.Lips.Face/E.L.F./EyesLipsFace HD Powder (according to website it is the: E.L.F. Studio High Definition Powder).

I received the package with all of my EyesLipsFace products that I had ordered before I started blogging about the makeup products I was buying. I opened the E.L.F. HD Powder. There was a clear sticky plastic covering so I didn't even give it a second thought about peeling it off. Then I put the powder pad that it comes with back in the box and closed it. It has a plastic covering inside with holes that is supposed to control the product coming out. Apparently they put too many holes in it because after I turned it over to get some product and went to try to open it which requires twisting the lid like 10 times, there was too much product that came out and as I was untwisting it the product started coming over the sides. It was very messy! That is when I realized that the packaging of this product is horrible! They tried to make it into a really cute design. I thought it was super cute as I was first opening it. I didn't think it was so cute after I was trying to get to the product. The white powder gets all over. I think it is because they put too many holes in the plastic lid on the inside that is supposed to control the product. The reason why it irritates me so much is because not only is the product messy, but you are also going to be losing a lot of product just by opening it each time. I don't like losing product. I will say that I was very surprised at how much product you do get for the price. You definitely get a lot of product for the money. I don't say that about a lot of E.L.F. products because I did notice that a lot of them are cheaply priced, but also come in small packages too. This one gives a very fair amount. I guess it's a good thing they give a lot of product because you will end up losing about half of it just by opening the packaging to get to the product.

I don't like the packaging because it gives too much product which leads to messiness and loss of product. I also didn't like the pad that it comes with. When I tried to use the pad to put the product on my face I was wearing foundation, I forget which one, I am going to assume the Covergirl Foundation since I am trying to get rid of that one. The foundation was rubbing off on the pad. My foundation was coming off onto the pad. That was frustrating. I noticed that even though the powder is supposed to go on translucent that with the pad the powder was leaving white patches on my face. If you rub too hard with the pad then more foundation comes off. I think I ordered a blush brush with the HD powder order so I used that and I noticed a world of difference. My foundation was not coming off and the powder was actually blending in instead of leaving white spots all over my face. I would definitely recommend using a brush, either a blush brush or a stippling brush. I have since ordered a stippling brush and I am really liking it!

The price of the product is $6.00.

Comments: the first couple of ratings I explained in the above two paragraphs. The texture of the powder is very grainy in the packaging and to the touch, but goes on smoothly. According to the website description it is supposed to create a flawless face, but I don't think it really did much in terms of making my face look flawless. It did fill some of my large pores so that they didn't stand out so much. It is really hard to create a flawless face on my skin so I noticed my skin looked a bit smoother, but not flawless. Another description from the website says that it's supposed to mask imperfections. I think it does an okay job, but nothing extraordinary. I think the powder does a good job of setting the foundation. Under powder effect I was thinking about how the powder effects the skin and for me it actually felt very dry even after I put it on over moisturizer, primer, and foundation. I would be careful with this product because I felt like it did dry my skin out and made it look dry, but not flaky. If you have oily skin this product would probably work very well because for oily skin it could probably use some drying out. For my dry/oily in the T-zone skin combination, I would probably bring this powder to use it in my oily T-zone areas, especially when half way through the day when I start getting an oily T-zone. It's not meant for that, but it could definitely be used for that. Just be careful on dry skin because this powder is dry and with my skin it made it feel and look a bit dry. When I tried to use this powder without foundation, I feel that it did an okay job, but not awesome. It definitely helped to hide my big pores, but it didn't really cover the redness on my face. I personally would not wear this product without foundation unless I wanted the I'm wearing, but not wearing makeup look, if that makes sense. If I'm running to the post office and will be out for a half an hour or so, I just wanted to look like I tried without trying, I would, but I feel my face requires full coverage foundation.

Covergirl TRUblend Liquid Makeup in #410 Classic Ivory

Hi fellow makeup fans!

This blog is going to be about the Covegirl TRUblend Liquid Makeup (liquid foundation) in skin tone 1 in #410 Classic Ivory.

I think I used this in a video or two that I made. I used it because I am trying to get rid of it. I don't like throwing products away, even the not so good ones. I realized a few months ago that the reason why I am not a big fan of this foundation is because it is too liquid-like. I can't tell if it is water or oil. I would assume oil, but the website says it is oil-free which would explain why it dries out somewhat after application. That is also not very good for my dry skin. Because it is so liquid-like, I noticed that the coverage is light to maybe medium. The formula is not very easy to work with so building coverage is not really an option, at least for my dry skin.

For some reason even though it is very liquid-like, it does not work well with dry skin. It shows dry skin flakes. One time I didn't realize how dry my skin was because I guess I couldn't see it, but when I tried to put the foundation on, it was pretty gross looking. No matter what I did with the foundation I could not cover it up. That was a really horrible experience. That is when I decided that once I finished the product, I was not going to buy it again. It's also not quite what I was looking for. I go for the full coverage with oil/sweat proof. That is why when I first found out MAC made a foundation like that I went straight to the MAC counter close to my area to buy it. I really like it. But that's off topic.

The Covergirl Trublend liquid foundation did cover up my redness because I made the mistake of wearing it when I went to my first MAC counter. The sales girl could not tell I had redness until I wiped off some of my cheek area to try out the MAC foundations. I guess it must have been a good day when my skin was behaving, but it still didn't look the way I want my foundation to look. I like the packaging. It is definitely easy to store, it's small in size, but you do get a lot of product. I like the fact it comes with a pump so you can pump the foundation out. I would not recommend this foundation for dry skin or dry combination (dry with oily t-zone) skin types.

Comments:
According to walmart.com their price is listed at $8.44, but I bought this a year or so ago so I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it. Probably around $7. I wouldn't say it's good for the price. I would not spend that much on it. You do get a decent amount of product though. It's just that this foundation was not for me. I would not recommend this product for people who have very dry skin because it shows. I would also not recommend this for dry combination skin with an oily T-zone because it applies really wet/oily so it might just slide off. The foundation is a bit hard to work with, especially for layering for more coverage, and it dries out a little bit after application, but it still comes off easily with sweat.
