Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner

Hi!

I think I may have mentioned this product, Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner, in my hair updates, but I don't think I ever did an actual review on it. I  just did a hair update and figured it would be a good time to do a review of this hair product.

I stopped using the shampoo part because I read online multiple times and saw some Youtube videos of women talking about how they stopped using shampoo and only used the conditioner. It made their hair soft and hydrated. I was so done with going through my hair troubles (I wrote all about it in my hair updates) and it actually worked. I have not used shampoo in at least 6 months and my hair does come out feeling more hydrated and the hydration lasts longer. I am finding success in doing a dry oil about once a month or as needed because some months are dryer than others and washing my hair with the conditioner once or twice a week. I am promoting the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner!

Comments:
I used to buy the largest squeeze bottle that my local Walmart had which was 20 fluid ounces for $4.97 each. The shampoo and conditioner are sold separately, I can't use the two in one in my hair because it dries it out, and now that I only use the conditioner. I used to spend about $10.00 on shampoo and conditioner. Recently my local Walmart started selling this conditioner in these giant bottles that come with pumps. I have been buying those. The giant bottles are 28 fluid ounces and come with a pump for a cap for $6.39. You get 8 fluid ounces more and a pump which helps me make sure I get enough to cover my hair, but not waste product. The packaging of the product is simple, but cute, depending on which one you get it's either you squeeze or pump the product out. I think that you get a decent amount of product and especially for the price. The texture of the shampoo and conditioner and is a bit on the thicker side, but it doesn't feel heavy or weighed down. Once you distribute the product throughout the hair it doesn't feel as thick and doesn't look as white. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner smells kind of sweet and citrus-like, I smell like an apple or pear or both where one is more sweet and the other has a bit of citrus in it. I like the scent. It's not overpowering or anything. The shampoo part of this hair care system, I feel like the shampoo part doesn't help to rehydrate my hair. It helps to make the hair feel clean, but not moisturized and I feel like it counteracts the conditioner. The conditioner does a decent job of making my hair feel hydrated and soft. It lasts for a few days. I have a dry scalp so when I use the conditioner, it cleans my scalp by rehydratiting it and getting rid of the dry stuff. Overall, I really like the conditioner part of this system because I feel like it works with my hair personally. I like the smell, I like the texture, and I really like how it moisturizes my hair. I have no interest or need to purchase the shampoo, some people may find that the combination of shampoo and conditioner works for them so someone else may want to invest in both. I'm really happy with just the conditioner! Yes, I will definitely continue to purchase the conditioner portion until something changes. In that case, I will do a hair update and let everyone know what changes I made!

Sincerely,
Marina
